We are more than thrilled to announce the release of composer Sarah Baker’s gorgeous soundtrack for I Married the War!

Working with Sarah was a joy from the start. In addition to talking with us about the women and their stories, she listened to early excerpts from the interviews in order to get to know each woman and her voice. Sarah’s understanding and sensitivity to them and the story came shining through. We couldn’t be happier with how her music enhances every part of this documentary.

If you have already seen the film, this unforgettable soundtrack will take you right back to the extraordinary, courageous women you grew to love.

You may go to Sarah’s website music store by clicking [here] where you can listen to teasers for each piece, buy a download of the soundtrack, buy the soundtrack download plus the soundtrack CD (NOTE: THIS IS NOT THE FILM), or purchase a gift card.

My husband was also a Marine at the siege of KheShan. It took him about 7 years after coming home to tell me anything about what he experienced. Of his immediate group(? word) that first arrived there were over 100 Marines. 3 came home alive. My husband was rated 100% totally disabled due to PTSD about 20 years after coming home. Something he had to painfully fight for He passed away 3 days from our 40th anniversary. He always said if you hadn’t been there, you would never believe what was told to you. My heart goes out to all the Veterans who survived Viet Nam and the thank you goes to those hero’s who gave the ultimate sacrifice, may they RIP.
