We are sad to report that Terri Topmiller’s home was lost to the devastating fire in Paradise, CA, where she had moved from Idaho not long ago. Terri was out-of-state at the time, so she did not have an opportunity to grab important possessions and flee. The good news is that she is safe, and carrying on with her life with a great attitude. She said, “Everyone has adversity in their lives, and the men and women in (and following) I Married the War understand it better than most. We are stronger for it, and will get through this too.”

Terri gave the first interview for I Married the War. She is the widow of a Vietnam veteran, and her experiences and insight will lend a powerful dynamic to the documentary. Learn more about her here, and join us in our concern for Terri and all the victims of these terrible fires.

    Terri,
So sorry to hear about your loss of home. We often think about what if, and we are never prepared when tragedy hits.
If there is anything that you would like to share, anything we as onlookers could do for you, or anyone else in Paradise, what would you ask of us? It seems so simple, yet we feel so helpless in our words and concern.
May God be with you all, in your time of need.
