We are very excited to introduce Sally Zepeda, one of our next two interviews! We’ll be filming Sally in the same timeframe as Anne Jackson. Sally has one of the happiest and most positive dispositions of anyone we know, and it will be a pleasure learning about her life with her husband, Luis, and family. Learn a little about Sally here in her short bio:
Soila L. Zepeda (Sally) was born in Rocksprings, Texas. She grew up in this little country town. In 1969, she married Luis, the man of her dreams, and moved to San Antonio, Texas. She is now a retired CNA, and Luis is a decorated Army Vietnam Veteran.
Sally is no stranger to taking care of people, which is why she became a CNA, devoting 16-plus years to caregiving. She is now the sole caregiver for her husband who is disabled.
She is the mother of 5 beautiful children, 1 daughter and 4 sons, and grandmother of 4 granddaughters and 2 grandsons. One grandson is currently serving in the United States Army.
Sally splits her time between living in the city and living at her ranch. She enjoys spending time outdoors gardening and planting, and when time permits, she also loves to sew. When she is not outdoors, you will find Sally line dancing, something she has enjoyed for more than six years. She says, “It keeps the heart young.”
